Coquitlam policies, in plain terms.

We understand plans change and that you may need to cancel a program. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Regular Classes: You can withdraw your child any time with one month's notice. Withdrawal must be made through email.

Camps: Up to 3 weeks before the program's start date, the full fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be refunded. No refunds will be issued if cancelled within three weeks of the camp.

There is no registration fee for new enrollments, and there is no predefined commitment. Students can be withdrawn from a program at any time with a month's notice.

Zebra Robotics' primary method of non-emergency communication is by email. We will send periodic emails about class updates, programs, events, and news to the email provided.

I agree to receive Zebra Robotics emails containing newsletter, news, program updates, events, and class updates. I can withdraw my consent at any time.

In the event of injury or severe illness, I permit the Zebra Robotics staff to obtain medical treatment for my child. I understand that if my child needs to be transported to an emergency facility, that decision will be made by the emergency team responding to the call.

I give my permission for Zebra Robotics, to record, film, photograph, audiotape, or videotape me/my child's image, student work, and performance (hereinafter collectively referred to as 'Works') and to display, publish, or distribute these Works for the purpose of publishing, advertising, posting on the Zebra Robotics website, posting in our facility, and posting on social media sites as determined by Zebra Robotics.

The recurring monthly fees will be debited within the first few days of the month and are non-refundable once processed. If there is a change in payment info, please inform us 7-10 days before the payment is processed. There will be a $25 payment charge if not paid by the 15th of the month or for returned/bounced fees.

Based on 4 classes per month, the fees remain the same each month for regular classes based on the enrolled course. The fee will not be prorated for shorter months (3 classes/month) as it will get compensated with extra classes in some months. We do not prorate, credit, or refund fees for missed classes. Fees might be adjusted in case of course change or type of class.

There are two methods of recurring payment:

(1) Auto Bank Draft / Pre-authorized debit payment: The monthly tuition payment will be automatically drafted from your bank account. Please stop by to provide a voided cheque on the first day of class or email it to us at infocoquitlam@zebrarobotics.com

(2) Pre-authorized credit card payment: The fees will be automatically debited from the card on file. Please note that you will be paying an additional $5 processing fee for each course.

We understand plans change, but we strongly advise students against missing classes.

Regular Classes: Make-up classes must be scheduled at the front desk before the day of the class. Drop-ins are not permitted. We offer two make-up classes per quarter. Make-ups will be provided only if we are notified beforehand. No make-up session will be provided for missed make-up classes.

Camps: Unfortunately, we will not offer make-up sessions for camps.

To ensure that students get the most from the Zebra Robotics streams, we will not allow more than one permanent class switch per school year (between Sep-June). Coaches may vary by class, making it hard for both students and coaches to adapt.

Due to availability, it is difficult for us to accommodate unexpected late pick-ups. If you are running late, please call our center to let us know!

For weather-related closures or delays, please check your email, our Facebook page for day-of updates, or give us a call. We do not provide refunds for classes missed due to these reasons.

Regular Classes: A make-up session will be offered if we cancel a class due to extreme weather or events beyond our control, such as power outages. Please check with the front desk admin to schedule make-up classes.

Camps: Unfortunately, we will not offer make-up sessions for camps.

Virtual classes are conducted using Zoom for the specified duration depending on the program, and students are expected to attend class on time. Proactive notification about absence helps our team to plan better. You will require a laptop. Headset and mouse are preferable.

Note: Some applications will not work on Chromebooks. Please give us a call to discuss the specifics.
