Zebra Robotics provides hands-on robotics, coding & AI, technology & engineering, and STEM education for students in grades 1–12. Through structured, self-paced learning and project-based challenges, students build technical skills while developing problem-solving, creativity, critical thinking, confidence and teamwork.

Zebra Robotics offers programs for grades 1–12, roughly ages 6–18. Students can begin with foundational STEM, robotics and coding concepts and progress into more advanced robotics, programming, AI and engineering.

Classes typically have 4–6 students per coach, depending on the program. Our curriculum is self-paced, allowing students to progress at their own pace while receiving support from their coach.

Our coaches come from backgrounds such as computer science, robotics, engineering, AI and related technology fields. Coaches are trained on Zebra’s curriculum and work closely with students as they progress through hands-on challenges and projects.

Most students attend one class each week, building skills through consistent, year-round learning. Some students choose two classes a week — combining areas such as robotics and coding or going deeper in one pathway.

Enrolled students have access to Zebra’s digital learning platform, where course materials and progress can be tracked. Parents are also encouraged to connect with their child’s coach for updates and to learn more about their progress.

Yes. Parents are welcome to speak with their child’s coach about their progress or any questions. Coach communication is coordinated through your Zebra Robotics location, so please contact your local team if you would like to speak with your child’s coach.

Zebra Robotics offers learning experiences across Robotics, Coding & AI, Technology and Engineering. Students learn through hands-on projects and challenges designed to build progressively from foundational concepts to more advanced skills.

Our curriculum is organized into programs, learning streams and courses. Programs are broad areas such as Robotics, Coding & AI or Technology. Within each program are structured learning streams, and each learning stream contains progressive courses that help students build their skills over time.

A learning stream is a structured sequence of courses focused on a particular area of learning. Examples include STEM Enthusiasts, Robotics Engineer, Python for AI and Web Developer. Students progress through the courses within a stream as they build their knowledge and skills.

Robotics combines building, engineering and programming to make robots perform tasks and solve challenges.

Coding & AI develops programming, computational thinking and an understanding of how software and artificial intelligence work.

Technology & Engineering gives students hands-on experience with areas such as electronics, design, 3D modelling and emerging technologies.

AI can generate answers and write code, but students still need strong foundations to understand what those tools produce, determine whether the results make sense and use technology thoughtfully. Robotics, coding and engineering give students practice in reasoning, problem-solving, testing ideas and understanding how technology works.

No. Students can start with or without prior experience. Our curriculum is self-paced, and our team can help identify an appropriate starting point based on your child’s grade and experience.

Yes. If your child has prior experience, our team can assess their skills and determine the appropriate starting course. The goal is to keep students challenged without unnecessarily repeating concepts they already understand.

The time varies by learning stream and by student. Zebra’s curriculum is self-paced, so students progress as they demonstrate their understanding and complete the required challenges rather than following the same timeline as everyone else.

Homework is generally not required. Enrolled students can access course materials through Zebra’s digital learning platform, and students who want additional practice can continue working on appropriate activities outside class.
